I thought windows would be faster, so I installed windows xp. Then after getting it setup, sound doesn’t work. Couldn’t find any windows xp sound drivers. Tried playing a movie file, was slower then puppy linux. Tried different video players. So I gave up, and installed puppy linux. Oh yeah to activate windows, which I didn’t need, since I had 30 days. But I used the key from my mom’s dell laptop, supposedly they don’t have to be activated. So the key on a dell computer should work. Some no name fellow told me that. Puppy linux is working good, using swiftfox now. Oh yeah I got the ram today, so now I have 192 MB of ram.
Update
Opera is still the fastest full featured browser in linux.
