Got HDTV

I got a Vizio 32″ VW32L on Saturday. The tv is big enough for me, might be to small for my uncle. Bought a new xbox 360, guess the arcade one only comes with a one year warranty, oh well, could of paid extra for an extra 2 year warranty, but decided not to. Also bought a tv stand. I hooked the xbox 360 up by the VGA cable I got for my monitor, read that VGA is better then component, not sure if it really is. Also ordered two HDMI cables, from amazon, or somebody on amazon, much cheaper then buying at the store. Bought a wii component cable on amazon or somebody else on amazon, not directly by amazon, for much cheaper then at the store too. Don’t buy cables at the store, retail stores will most likely rip you off. A discount store might not, but if the cable is bad, expect them to be rude to you, when returning it. Which is why I don’t shop at the discount store in my area.

I changed the default settings on my Vizio tv, found some settings on avsforum.com.

I changed brightness to 48 at least when playing video games.

I bought my Vizio 32″ tv at my local walmart, but you can buy it online too. Tigerdirect is having a HDTV sale, right after I bought this tv, I don’t care, I like my tv, and therefore won’t be returning it. Compusa.com has some other Vizio 32″ LCD HDTV for $429 but its refurbished. Its not the same model, so I don’t know how good it is, and its not new, refurbished.

Oh yeah Jeff gave me a futon, and my mom bought me a recliner for $15 at a yard sale.

Still have money left, might or might not buy anything else.
