		<description>Brilliant starting point. But leave the password because you will be prompted for it. So:
sudo mount -t cifs //ip/share ~/share -o user=username

or switch to root and do:
mount -t cifs //ip/share ~/share -o user=username

In both cases just provide the password you are prompted for.
