I got a Aluratek 3G Portable Wireless USB Cellular Router today, to use with t-mobile webconnect. I got a t-mobile USB modem for 70 bucks on eBay, instead of 200 bucks. It’s pretty easy to setup after I found the IP address to configure it, I didn’t use their software. The user manual is on the CD. I bought it directly from amazon.com for their good return policy. The speed inside upstairs is less then 100 kbps. Outside the speed is almost 3,000 kbps. Don’t plan on using it inside so that isn’t a problem for me.
The IP address for it is 192.168.123.254.
The settings I used are:
Wan Type 3G
APN epc.t-mobile.com
Dialed Number *99#
Account voicestream
Password voicestream
