I’m downloading the gold trial, since I don’t know anything about the game. I don’t know if Mondian’s Legacy is any good, don’t even know if I’ll like ultima online, but its free. If using linux you’ll need wine, or some other way to run windows programs. Or maybe its an archive and can be extracted with cabextract, but that might require wine.
Oh yeah I changed my mind after somebody said “but if ud never played i wouldnt advice it people tend to kill u alot”. I don’t want to enter the game and get slaughtered. So I’ll stick the laggy planeshift.
Wait this server has a newbie dungeon, does that make them newbie friendly?

Getting the svn version of iris, released version doesn’t compile. It gets an error 1. Hmm says stable release on the files its getting.
Still doesn’t work, guess I’ll try an older version of gcc. I mean g++. If that doesn’t work then screw it, I’m not editing their code. To much of a pain.

Either the code is broken, or it doesn’t compile on a 64bit distro.

It appears ubuntu sucks, and doesn’t provide updates of ogre. Damn it just remembered, that I just deleted the source. Now I have to download the source again, through svn.

I searched for the error I was getting on google, and it appears as though it only compiles on 32bit distros. So if I want to compile it, I’d have to go into chroot and do everything I already did again. I might as well play planeshift, while its compiling all the crap again. Well it might be done compiling before I can play, it says “Wait”. Got on for a second, and said to wait five minutes, because the server crapped out again. Hey I know everybody go download planeshift, so we can kill the server, and their forced to buy a new server, or quit developing a game that doesn’t work.

Found another rpg. Regnum Online for linux and windows, not for osx though. Guess the game doesn’t have sound, I tried various fixes I found, but none of them worked. Therefore I deleted it. Not playing a game with no sound.
