The patched ushare doesn’t work for mp3s for some reason. You can run both ushare and x360mediaserve at the same time. I have ushare start first, only because it starts when I login.
What you need:
Java
x360mediaserve (0.0.1 is more stable then 0.0.2 testing.)
Extract x360mediaserve and then in a terminal do the below:
cd /path/to/x360mediaserve/ chmod 755 start ./start
Replace /path/to/x360mediaserve/ with the correct path.
Then go to http://127.0.0.1:7000/configure and add put in the path to where your music is.
If your xbox 360 doesn’t see the x360mediaserver then run start with your ip address like below:
./start 192.168.1.1
