Speed Download & HamachiX

July 27th, 2008 admin

Using Speed Download and HamachiX, you can easily setup private file sharing. Well I thought you could use Speed Download file sharing over the internet, it says in the help you can use it remotely, I guess they mean remotely as in your house. So far this is the best solution me and my uncle have found to do private file sharing on the mac.

HamachiX is a frontend for Hamachi, there is no official GUI of Hamachi for the mac, there is only a command line version.

Speed Download is the best download manager available for the mac, its only $25, which isn’t to bad. Can do much more then file sharing, it supports FTP, now I don’t have to use the buggy cyberduck. It also supports rapidshare, if you have a premium account.
