Sold some stuff on ebay.

April 4th, 2009 admin Comments off

One of my Mini DisplayPort to DVI Adapters sold on ebay for $21.99 buy it now, free shipping. Shipping was added to the price. Also my Acer Aspire One sold for $152.52. Put the rest of my Mini DisplayPort to DVI Adapters on ebay, don’t want to use craigslist, then you have to either meet em somewhere, or have them come to your house, rather ship it.

Pre ordered Nintendo DSi Black

February 19th, 2009 admin Comments off

Just pre ordered the Nintendo DSi black from amazon.com, the link is to the blue one, but you can select black on the page. Funny how the page says:

As you may know, the Nintendo DSi is in great demand, and there are shortages of this product across the U.S. In an effort to provide as many customers as possible with the opportunity to purchase a Nintendo DSi, we are limiting the total number of Nintendo DSi units that can be purchased. As a result, each household may only purchase three Nintendo DSi units. See additional policy details here.

I guess amazon is psychic, though I wouldn’t be surprised if that is the case. It might sell out too, just like the Wii did for a long time, you can get that easily now though. Maybe I should of pre ordered three, so I could sell the other two on ebay, and maybe make a profit.

Hopefully the DSi supports WPA… Non like the DS. Not changing security on router, just so DS can connect, and won’t do it for DSi either.

Uncle’s house burned down

November 8th, 2008 admin 2 comments

Damn not sure how bad it is or anything, he hasn’t been there since 2 AM. Fireman had to get him out, and all that crap. Might drive by his house with Vince, I’ll ask him if he’ll drive me by there. I’ll take some pictures, probably won’t post em, without his permission, just to show the pictures to family members. Damn he probably lost all music on linkstation, macbook, HDTV, damn. My grandma found him, not sure where, but there taking him to their house, not sure how long he’ll have to stay with em. Hopefully he’ll get some sleep. Considering he probably hasn’t gotten any sleep.

Oh yeah my mom said he was burning scrap paper or something and it got out of hand.

Might need a remote backup solution, but that would be slow with comcast, backing up data over crappy comcast connection. Better off buying a big external drive, and storing somewhere else, or in a fire proof safe.

Hmm if he wants me to, I’ll setup web access on my linkstation for him, so he can listen to some of the music I have. I’m sure my grandpa will let him use his mac. Oh yeah and my linkstation has a iPhone/touch optimized version of web access, so if he still has iPhone, he wouldn’t need to use grandpa’s mac.

Hopefully he takes some vacation, I’d reckon this would be a good time to take some time off of work.

Hmm mom said he was on the news, somebody told her or something. I doubt he wanted to be on the news, she also said when she talked to him, he sounded like he wasn’t tracking stuff. She said its pretty bad, damn this sucks. Oh yeah me and Vince are going to drive by.

OpenDNS Blog » OpenDNS – Keeping you safe day after day

I’m very proud to announce that we are one of the only DNS vendor / service providers that was not vulnerable when this issue was first discovered by Dan. During Dan’s testing he confirmed and we later confirmed that our DNS implementation is not susceptible to the attack that was discovered. In other words, if you used OpenDNS then you were already protected long before this attack was even discovered.

Not only is opendns fast, but the dns flaw, doesn’t affect me or anybody else using opendns. I’ve been using opendns for a long time, probably a year or more. I’m not sure how long, but it works fine. Not sure why anybody would continue using their ISP’s dns servers, considering how opendns is faster, more secure, and you can setup content filtering too, and best of all its 100% free.

Oh yeah and its really easy to use opendns, on your router, set your dns to the IP address’s opendns’s site shows. On my linksys router, all I had to do was set static dns 1 and 2 to the IP address’s they list on their site.

Forgot to say they also have Phishing Protection. Which is nice, just incase somebody else at my house, like my mom, gets tricked, or somebody tries to trick her, or they try to trick me.

Close your curtains…

June 15th, 2008 admin Comments off

I was walking (on a… BUSY street) in front of your house (with an American Flag out front) today, you had your curtains open and you were doing “something”, sitting there on your couch. :-) Exhibitionist? I wanted to just walk in on you… should I have? What would you have done? Does anyone else live there?

I’m pretty sure you saw me (I walked by like four times!)… Tell me what I was wearing? Do you usually do that there and around the same time (around 4 – 5pm)? Wow!! I’ll have the courage next time! :-) (I drove by later and you were outside with your weed-eater, so you won’t have any doubt it’s you)

Quote from craigslist. My mom just ordered me a vga cable for the xbox 360, now I can play the 360 on my monitor. Nobody will see me downstairs in my room. If some lady walked in my house, I don’t know what I’d do. Probably have an anxiety attack. Hmm actually I’d probably be having an anxiety attack before they walked in, if they walked past my house four times. I’d probably close the curtains, grab a kitchen knife…

Says you can read email supposedly. Didn’t read the whole thing, cause I guess if he wants to read my non existence email, then go right ahead. Not sure how the law got passed though so quickly, in history, they said the president can’t pass laws. Ahh well the new law will be I am your ruler, I do whatever the hell I want, I break all the old laws. I destroy America. Now we shall get bombed, good bye my fellow Americans.
