My old mac mini still works and is fast enough for me. The only thing I can’t do is play newer mac games. I’ll just play games on my 360 and wii for now. Maybe I’ll consider getting new mac if starcraft 2 is ever released. Maybe I’ll buy an expensive SSD drive to speed it up even more. The 7200 rpm drive I have in it is fast enough though, so don’t really need a new drive. I will be getting a new superdrive, so I don’t have to use external drive to burn DVDs. Could always buy a cheap PC for gaming, if I want to play computer games.

Doesn’t look like I need a new mac, if I ever want to play Spore. Spore has some bad reviews anyways, and some nasty DRM. No release date yet, so you can’t pre order it yet.

No shit Nintendo, you should of emailed me that yesterday when it came out. Wait they don’t work Sunday, but release new product on Sunday… Oh yeah mine shipped earlier today from amazon, should get it tomorrow. No need to pay for one day shipping if you live close to Seattle.

From a comment here. So I guess Nintendo DSi only games maybe, if there are ever any. Then Nintendo will need to update support site, as it says “games”. So I guess any online games in shop channel can’t be played online, according to Nintendo. Probably aren’t very many games in shop channel yet anyways.

M3 Simply probably doesn’t work anymore, but I can use the DS Download Play service to try new games, get the Nintendo channel for Wii and it has demos for the DS, that it can send to DS systems, and DSi.

Got MadWorld today, seemed easy at first, on third level I think, or is it the fourth place? I don’t remember, took a break. Also got No More Heroes. Its alright, kind of easy, probably because I selected the easy mode, wonder how much harder the other level is. Oh yeah man darts is fun.

Hopefully the DSi supports WPA… Non like the DS. Not changing security on router, just so DS can connect, and won’t do it for DSi either.

Got Wii Fit today at target, they only had two in stock. Maybe I should of bought both of them, and sold one on ebay. A 30 minute workout = 1 hour, as you have to click lots of stuff in the menu. They should of added a “auto” mode of some sort, that would let you make sets, that you could assign workouts too, and then click start, and then it would go through each one, and show you the results at the end, after your all done. Ahh well it makes you sweaty, depending on which exercise you do. The running should make you sweaty, especially if your out of shape like me. Though my BMI is barely healthy.

I set a goal to loose five pounds in a month, better start small, as I’m lazy. I think you can also make the goal to gain weight, maybe I’ll try that after I loose the five pounds.

Oh at target, where the game usually is, locked behind the glass thing, it wasn’t there, there was a sign that said “out of stock”. It was kind of by the checkout area, in the electronics area. The lady said people keep asking if they have it, so I think they got tired of people asking and moved them, and put that nice sign there, hahah, and I got lucky. Thanks target for doing that.

My mom tried to get it yesterday, gamestop’s site said it was in stock, yet when she got their, it wasn’t. So she asked “Do you guys only have this in stock for one day?”, and they said they were getting more today, and sure enough they did. She payed retail price, instead of a ridiculous amount on ebay. You can buy Mario Kart for the wii, on gamestop’s site, but they charge a pathetic handling fee of $4.99 plus shipping, unless of course you use the code “SAVER”, to get free value shipping, have fun waiting. Funny the gamestop she went to doesn’t say they have it in stock on gamestop’s site, that info must not be updated very often, or they got it after 8 am.

Just froze while going online, maybe I should give the Wii a break for a while, didn’t really feel hot though. Strange. I don’t think I played it as long as I did yesterday either, and it never froze yesterday. Maybe the Wii was receiving a message, and that’s what caused it to freeze, because I did see a new message, in the Wii message board, that I didn’t see before playing.

Hmm reading a review on amazon, about the wii wheel, one person says the nunchuck and wiimote are better. I don’t agree, because using the wii wheel is very easy, and much more enjoyable, and I refuse to try it with the nunchuch and wiimote combo, I’ll stick with the wii wheel and wiimote. Works good for me.

Perhaps those who are having problems are retarded, and or have their Wii setup incorrectly, most likely they are just plain retarded. I’m getting better and better, as I play Mario Kart with the wii wheel, for many hours a day, much more fun then sitting on the computer, or playing GTA IV.

Playing ghost mode online is fun too, its like a time trial, yet against somebody else’s time, most likely you won’t know em, unless you are racing somebody’s ghost that is your friend. Yet the only friend I have on their, doesn’t seem to play Mario Kart online.

My uncle probably hasn’t unlocked anything yet, kind of funny, because he has had this game much longer then me. I just beat 100CC mode. Though I need to get the best rank on everything in 100CC mode, and 50CC mode. The next CC mode will probably be harder, not sure how much harder.

The easy solution is to cut the wire for the fan, think the fan is dead anyways, way to loud. Wouldn’t buy the Wii Dual Charge Station & Turbo Cooler again, very bad buy.

Oh yeah and Wii Fit is selling good on ebay. Cool there’s already a wii fit tracker. I already knew it was in stock at circuit city.

Wii fit is sold out at one local circuitcity, but still in stock at one of them. I have no income, so I can’t buy it. After I have an appointment to get SSI, then I might have an income in the future. To lazy to work, I like to take your tax money, for my craziness.

Cool now you can load import games on any Wii console, no not backups. But games from other regions, no need to buy freeloader. Hmm you could buy the Japanese version of games and play them before their released in the U.S, assuming you speak Japanese.

Oh yeah I got my Wii Dual Charge Station & Turbo Cooler, works fine. The instructions said the first charge takes 12 hours, but I think their full of shit, because the blue light indicating its done charging came on way before 12 hours.

Finally an adult homebrew demo for the wii. Now you can shake the wiimote, and watch the magic. Haven’t downloaded it yet, probably won’t. Some people in my house, may get offended. To lazy to move the Wii into my bedroom, and hook up my tv. Then I’d have to bring it back up stairs, oh yeah and don’t forget about moving the sensor bar around, to make sure its in the right spot. The demo would be better with a HDTV anyways…

I beat classic mode on easy, guess normal doesn’t count for easy. I think I beat it on hard too. After I beat it on easy I unlocked Luigi. I can’t seem to beat event 14, on easy or normal, haven’t tried hard, maybe I can beat it on hard, haha. My mom ordered me a Wii Dual Charge Station & Turbo Cooler. For some reason when playing Super Smash Bros. Brawl, with my wireless gamecube controller (Looking at the manual on their site for that one, it says you can change the channel, but the one I have you can’t.), the shield sometimes stays on, and then the character gets stunned for a second, if I don’t get the shield off, or continue moving.

It works, but its kind of slow. Oh yeah you can get scummvm for the wii here.

A major breakthrough has hit the Wii scene in the form of a program called Trucha Signer.

This program allows you to modify the contents of a Wii iso and then re-sign it with an electronic signature the Wii will accept. Basically, in theory you could put anything you wanted into a Wii iso (or take out, eg: Wii updates) and by using this tool to re-sign it the Wii will not reject the altered disk.

Also says that the author is adding virtual console support and Wii Channel support, so hopefully in the near future, assuming nintendo doesn’t fix the bug, people will be able to share the virtual console games they bought, with their friends. Hmm wonder if that program will work with wine.

My uncle just got his first wii, he accidentally ordered two on ebay. I remember getting that error when I first tried to connect to the internet with my wii. The first thing is obviously to go to nintendo.com and search for it, yet there “help” doesn’t help or fix anything.

The solution for me and my uncle was to set a static ip address on the wii, also set a static dns server, and change the mtu to 1400. Might have something to do with the ddwrt firmware. For the dns server, you can probably put in your routers ip address, 192.168.1.1, for me. Then assign it an ip that isn’t in use like 192.168.1.126. The gateway is the address of the router, so for me 192.168.1.1.

According to Ars Technica, Slackers of Illinois/Missouri are taking retail Wiis and dumping them on Ebay for US$399, $150 above the MSRP.

You can always go to the store and see if they have it or call them, but most likely the ebay assholes already bought them all, and are now selling them to idiots who are willing to pay more then $250 for the system.

Now I want the Asus Eee PC, the cheapest one, that won’t be released until the end of November is fine, will be $299. Probably to much, so I should stop looking at it, because I know, I won’t get it. Ahh well. Don’t want the Nokia N800 anymore, after comparing the specs and the price. It isn’t worth it. So I still only have one thing on my list, the JBL speakers. I don’t want to put it on my list or ask for it, because $299 is to much. I could sell my other computer, but I doubt I’d get very much, and if I sold it, I would want at least $399, so I can get the better model, with more ram. But I would really rather have the one that you can upgrade the ram on, ok I guess you could attempt at unsoldering, the soldered on ram, if you so desire, but I would destroy it. Thinking the Nokia N800 is $399, because of the link above, is completely false, because you can get it for less then $300 at buy.com and amazon. Unless you want to buy it through nokia, and get totally ripped off.

Hmm I think I rather have a wii though, I want to play the new super mario galaxy game. I don’t think its a good idea to ask for something or to buy something when its first released, as my uncle bought the iPhone to early, though he did wait. So I’ll wait till next year or the year after. By then I might have a job, and some money. If you can’t find a wii, you must not go to the store very often. I remember seeing it in stock at walmart, and my mom’s boyfriend say he saw it in stock somewhere too. Guess some people only order online. I don’t think I want to play manhunt, due to psychotic reasons. I might go even more crazy if I play it. Well they do blur the executions out, but there’s probably sound. I saw it in stock, won’t say where, because if you want one, you can get off your lazy ass, and go look for one. I wasn’t looking for one though, and don’t have $250. Trying to decide if I should sell the iBook my uncle gave me. He doesn’t care if I sell it. But its missing one key, because it won’t go on right. It’ll go on, but it’ll be sticking up on the bottom, the thing that holds it down broke or something. Not buying a new keyboard for it. Might be able to get $250-$300 out of my other laptop, won’t go under $250. The battery is almost new. Not sure how much I can get from my iBook. Probably won’t sell it, will sell the other laptop, I like osx better then linux, and windows. If I sell the iBook, I won’t be buying a wii. Rather have a mac mini, then a wii.
