Over a hundred bucks to switch to CenturyLink. The modem/router is a hundred bucks, there’s a setup fee, a shipping and handling fee. And I’ll need another ethernet cable. The phone jack is on the other side of the living room. Don’t want to move my desk.
It’ll cost 15 bucks a month for the first year, then it’ll be twenty bucks a month. Only 3 Mbps, but it’ll save me 40 bucks a month. Oh yeah, there’s a four dollar fee on top of it. Is there tax too?
On the cron file. I gave them permission to reset it. They said nothing in /home will be affected. Why not just chmod the files?
Update Resetting fixed it. Had to re add the cron jobs, except for the ones on their site. I should delete the manually added ones, and add em on their site.
