Only 8 GB of RAM. That’s fine for Linux. But I don’t bother using my Mac mini M1 cause it only has 8 GB of RAM. Want to use some proprietary software? Well, it’s going to do a lot of swapping. Video editing, photo editing.

Probably could edit a photo with 8 GB of RAM in Linux though. Maybe do some small video editing too. I don’t know what I’m doing with photo or video editing, but the Mac mini doesn’t help me.

Rebooting the server might fix it, but not worth it. VirtualHere might work, but not paying $50.

I’d plug the RTLSDR’s in my desktop, but no USB 2.0 ports free. No idea what the two ports under the 2.0 ports are.

Well, guess I have to just stream it from the server. My script has issues, and don’t want to fix it.

Oh those two ports are HDMI and DisplayPort, so I guess with the right CPU, I could use those. Thought it was too ancient to have those.

Wonder how long openSUSE Tumbleweed will work on laptop, without freezing. Apparently I can’t enable adaptive sync, maybe that means it won’t freeze.

Or install GUI and Pipewire, and send from it directly, but seems like a pain in the ass.

So with Icecast, I might have to add every station. Not a good solution. Might as well fix my script. Or maybe USBIP doesn’t work because of script running. Broken script disabled.

Installed Pipewire on the computer with the RTL SDRs connected. Now to make a script, to play the MHz sent to it. No more fucking around with HTTP, all I need is a simple shell script.

To convert FCC radio freqs to the Icecast thing’s config file. Not needed for me. No more USB IP crap either.

Replace 105.7 with $1, and then run ssh xxx@xxx ./radio.sh 105.7. Problem solved. Now to make a script for 105.7, since I got a bad memory. Or make a script, and list radio stations, then enter it.

There’s duplicates in my radio.txt or the output from script.

I want Stereo FM, the rtl_fm_streamers don’t support the V4 RTL SDR Blog thing. And too lazy to figure out how to update librtlsdr.

Forgot I had that mouse. The Zowie mouse I have, was having an issue with the scroll wheel. Then it went away. Bought the Zowie in 2017.

This one has barely been used, was using it with a laptop most likely, but was probably a pain using it on a lap desk. Works fine using it on a desk though.

Uses triple A batteries, I think. And no need to plug the mouse in or set on a charger. Got plenty of rechargeable batteries. Having to remember to put the mouse on charger, would be a real pain.

Zowie’s out of my price range now. Their wireless ones are cheaper refurbished on eBay, but no removable batteries.

This one is even cheaper, was just sitting on a table.

Works with the USB switcher too, just click a button on mouse after switching. Using the 2.4GHz adapter. And that USB switcher has four USB ports, so I left the other mouse plugged in for now.

Bought the upgrade, had version 1 pro. Only $9. But then realized, should have made sure laptop is working first. Well, it should work with Steam Deck, there’s a Flatpak. Maybe only in desktop mode though, not sure. Wayland is experimental, didn’t know that either.

Well, get to test it anyways. Laptop seemed to be freezing because of AMDGPU. If it’s the driver, using openSUSE Tumbleweed could help. If I could disable the iGPU that could help too.

How about Input Leap? Free and might work better then Synergy. Only wasted $9. No clipboard sharing, not with Synergy either. If using Wayland. Is there a fork of it, that is more updated? Plenty of pull requests.

Trying to listen to a talk show on radio and do something else, doesn’t work right now for me. Then I just hear annoying sounds in the background.

Well, finally realized, I don’t have to keep turning receiver up and down. Make it loud enough for radio, then use software to make the volume less for my music. The MPD client has volume control. And volume control in KDE too. The Atari VCS sound card shows up just like a local sound card. All I need is Pipewire to do that.

I do want to know something though, why can’t the doctor feel numbness on me? Pretty sure I asked somebody that at hospital. Or asked them something, and said they couldn’t feel numbness on me. Don’t know what I asked them though. I’m guessing something felt numb. No idea what.

Apparently in the funny farm, some people change their names. Either that, or I need to get my hearing checked. My ears do ring, which apparently means the fibers are damaged. What good will getting my hearing checked do? Hearing aids require batteries. Also, if my hearing is bad enough for hearing aids, that’s surprising.

They should have apartments in the hospital, that way, I wouldn’t have had to leave. And my insurance would get to pay for me to live there. Hmm, I wonder how much the bill was. Too lazy to look.

The butt doctor found the source of my bleeding. Well, they removed two of them, but they weren’t bleeding or bleeding recently. The one that was bleeding recently, is close to my stinky hole. Got to see another doctor to get that removed.

I do wonder, did they shave my ass? Cause it doesn’t feel the same. But now, I can’t tell if my pubes are the same either. Well, who got the privilege of shaving my ass? I was hoping, the attractive, lady, that pushed me to the procedure room did.

Well, they checked my stomach too. Said it was red, from heartburn. Woke up with heartburn today. Said to take the stronger heartburn medicine apparently. Might as well go all the way back, to when I was taking it two times a day. The hospital was giving me the weaker stuff twice a day.

Which isn’t what I was doing, I was taking one weak one, and one strong one. One in morning, and one at night. Don’t ask me if the hospital people asked me what medicine I take. I barely remember the ER part.

To get radio on receiver, I decided to do it the easy way. Re enable USBIP services on the computer the RTL things are plugged into, and then send it from desktop to the Atari VCS, using Pipewire. Got Pipewire configured to do that. The radio isn’t as loud as my music apparently. I don’t see the point in TV being turned on when listening to something.

Was trying to use SDRAngel in Podman. Too much work. Even if it can send to my desktop running SDRAngel, kind of pointless.

The USB hub must be failing, cause no issues since getting new one. The one before the last one did the same thing. Last brand Amazon Basics, previous brand possibly Plugable. This brand starts with a J.

Why take a nap after getting the scopes done? I was taking a nap. Then they made me leave. Then I woke up. And then I decided, to wait till later to sleep. I’d rather not fuck my sleeping up more. Also, then I can possibly go to bed earlier. Better then taking a “nap”. I like taking long naps.

Also, do they give me the same drug, when they remove the ass polyp? I don’t want anything stronger. Cause I’m too scared to be knocked out. But the stuff they gave me, works great, didn’t have to try to sleep. They said to take deep breaths, or a couple. Might have taken three. Then fell a sleep.

The laxative might be wearing off finally. The last dump wasn’t the same as the one before. The dump at the place, was clear and liquid. The one after I ate, was dark and liquid. The last one, was getting more solid.

Also, I shouldn’t have ate very much food. That hurt my stomach, two times. Ate some of it for lunch, then the rest of burrito for dinner. And there’s rice left.

Well, the drawing tablet, will have to wait till tomorrow. And it’s almost 8 PM.

My foot can fall a sleep again. So can my pinky. Didn’t notice that until whatever day it was at the funny farm.

Might need to shit yet again. How long can I hold it in?

I know what a lady’s ass feels like now. Somebody said a lady’s ass feels the same but with less hair. I think that means it feels the same but with a buzz cut.

Also, there’s something wrong with toilets at medical places, my ball sack was touching the top of the water again, after diarrhea came out. Why don’t they provide yellow ball sack nets?

Got to drink one more Gatorade before trying to sleep.

I was in the curtain room, waiting, and thinking, probably after they put the IV thing in. “Is it a good idea to trust anybody this much?”, probably cause the IV thing kind of hurt. Well, apparently, nothing bad happened, except that my ass might have gotten shaved.

Why do they need to shave my ass anyways? Maybe my asshole, but why the cheeks? I should have taken a photo before I the procedure. Then again, if I took a photo, I’d be able to tell if it’s shaved or not. If it wasn’t, well, my fingers might have issues. Well, the backside of my hands are all messed up. Guess if the other side is dry enough, it too, might not feel very much.

I went to the doctor for that once, said Eczema.

When getting middle aged, you get to buy lots of cool toys. Like a scrub brush with a handle. Might even end up in the hospital, and get a fancy yellow bracelet and socks. Nothing like falling on my ass, and not remembering much about it.

I found out, I can talk to women, if I want to though. Only talked to the staff mostly. The one person I tried talking to, well, good luck. More distracted then me.

I missed the twerking in Karaoke, I wasn’t paying attention. I don’t know their gender identity, but they had facial hair. More then me. Shaved all mine off today. Easier to do with glasses on apparently.

Famous saying from funny farm “Please don’t do that with door open”. Noticed one person in the lounge, was looking towards the room that something was happening with the door open. Well, I ended up going to my room. I heard enough. And my anxiety went up.

I only sang Karaoke, cause people were singing with me. Always wanted to sing with at least one lady, anyways. Looks like I accomplished that.

Removable shower heads are nice. Even if leaving it on. Water shoots out even farther. The shower in funny farm, easy to hit head on the thing to change water temperature.

I remember at one funny farm, they gave me a dull razor to shave with. Didn’t get much of a shave. And she kept saying be careful, should have asked her to shave me. Well, speaking of, I should go to the Barbour Shop, and put my ass on the counter, and ask how much to shave it.

They might have had something that could have shaved my face at this funny farm, but I wanted to see how much hair was on my face. Not enough. How long does it take to grow a full beard? I wonder if my pubes grow faster. Got a electric razor, a Philips one. Guess I have to shave everyday or every other day. But it’s probably faster then shaving once a week.

And wet wipes too. Well, the hospital gives shitty ass paper for wiping. I did find out, nobody has to smear the shit all around their asshole though. “Gentle, pat, pat.”

I told the male nurse, I was relieved after taking a dump, and he said in a Russian ancient “I’m very happy for you”.

I thought only women didn’t want to talk about bowel movements.
