According to rtings.com, the best TV for $300 or less, is the Hisense 55A7N, which is currently $260 @ Best Buy. A little smaller, because they don’t like making 58" TVs anymore. But has VRR, the only reason to get a new TV. Finally VRR is on cheaper TVs.

Vizio’s offerings aren’t that great, they want to charge for their brand name. Might as well get a cheaper brand, it’s just a TV, who cares.

If it isn’t on sale next month when I want to buy it, if I do, I might have to shell out $300 for it, so should just wait for a sale. I think this Vizio was over $300, or $300, I forgot. The Hisense is probably brighter, so probably looks better in brighter rooms, my room isn’t that bright though anymore.

Hisense has a Fire TV model, but a review says it’s too slow, probably even when not using the smart interface, just changing settings on different inputs. And I don’t want any Fire TV Amazon crap. Don’t really want Google crap either. They should sell me a dumb TV.

The Bluetooth Transmitter has a volume control on it, so does it have some kind of amp? If so, it’s double ampped.

And if it isn’t PHONO output, well it still works with a PHONO amp. Too lazy and cheap to buy the line amp. I think the antenna on this thing sucks for the radio. Time to switch back to record to see if it really sounds horrible. Not great, but maybe not as bad as radio.

The problem might be Bluetooth Transmitter, adjusting volume doesn’t work right, have to reboot the thing.

Set volume to 10, instead of the max on Bluetooth Transmitter, reboot it, and the radio won’t sound as bad, but still bad. Might need to go down to 5. Probably have to reboot it, cause of what it’s connecting to, my computer, acting as a dumb speaker.

Five too low, eight might be fine though. Too bad I can’t adjust the bass. Should have got an amp with controls, not all automatic. No hum on mine.

I could plug this amp into my other radio and see what it does. If it sounds bad, then it’s probably not using PHONO output on either. But I don’t want to unplug my desktop from my soundbase, just to borrow the cable.

LOL, I should have searched for bass before. It’s not for cheapo junk turntables. And not for the radio either.

Sounds better now, unplugged the amp. Maybe a line amp would work. Probably not worth it.

Listening through RCA LINE OUT For amplifier device listening, first reduce the volume level to minimum. Insert the white and red plugs of the RCA cable into the corresponding colors on the unit. Then insert the opposite end into the amplifier device. Be sure to connect the white plug to the white jack and the red plug to the red jack.

That might be why it doesn’t sound too good, I have the volume all the way down. Maybe the amp only works with the shitty built in speaker. Now to order the phono amp and find out, if not, I’ll order Douk Audio L1 Mini Stereo Line Level Booster Amplifier Audio Preamp with 20dB Gain and Volume Control.

If it sounds good enough, I might not need to spend $250 for a better one, not till this junk one dies. Except, it is smaller, the $250 one. Maybe I could put it where I wanted to put this one.

It says Line-Out jack though, so might not work. But the Douk thing costs more then the Pyle phono amp. So I bought the cheaper one first. I’ll need it for the $250 turntable anyways. And easier to fix the $250 one, if this dies or something, I’d have to email them to get replacement parts. Pain in the ass. And the $250 one is upgradable.
