Samhung Pro Endurance my ass

Will still die eventually in a Raspberry Pi. I’d recommend buying a cheap micro SD card. Finally got the Pi restored and everything working.

Used another Samhung Pro Endurance card, cause the other card is bigger, don’t need a big card, this one is too big as it is.

If Linux won’t boot after restoring backup, make sure you changed /etc/fstab, and if using Armbian on a Pi, set the label to what cmdline.txt is looking for.

Conservatives are pathetic

Well, most of them are.

They don’t believe in the constitution, like separation of state and church, among many other things.

They should go live in a different country, instead of taking over this one. Maybe Russia would like them, they can go fight in Russia’s war.

They aren’t even pro life, as immigrants are dying, in ICE custody, and the conservatives aren’t doing anything. Some of those immigrants were here legally, until Trump took their legal status away.

That’s like making something illegal, and then saying it goes backwards. So if you broke the law before it was the law, you’re guilty of it anyways]

Also, the federal government shouldn’t be funding these illegal and inhumane ICE concentration/death camps. Instead make the rich asshole conservatives fund it.

If you don’t believe in separation of state and church, that applies to abortion, abortion is a religious issue, then you can fuck off.

I wonder how many people these pro lifers will manage to kill in the next 5-10 years. Some sun event might happen in that time frame, killing a bunch of people. Afterwards or possibly before, the military will be in charge.

Just think if conservatives, controlled everything before now. There’d be nothing, no electronics, as they don’t believe in education. So.. Good luck with that.

Not all people detained by ICE are illegal either. Just protest them, and you might find yourself detained. You can fuck off too, if you don’t believe everybody should have the right to protest.

Conservatives are evil, they just hide behind religion. They hate poor people too.

7artisans 7.5mm f2.8 Mark II MFT

Images look good to me, only took two test photos, one looking out window, and one of the living room and kitchen. You can find samples on the internet. Not here though. I don’t share, cause I don’t care.

Can’t tell how soft it is @ infinity focus. That one was the looking out window photo, window makes it too hard to tell. But looks fine to me.

Bought for taking photos outside, not of people or any other creatures. Maybe I’ll make a panorama. If I ever go outside, maybe it’ll be my most used lens.

One site said it’s sharp, sharp enough for me. Somebody on Amazon said something about infinity focus not being sharp enough, or was that a different lens? Well, this one is $10 cheaper then the Meike, I was going to get that one.

Wanted a wide non zoom lens, manual focus is fine, cheaper. I have the Panasonic 12mm-32mm or whatever it is, possibly not wide enough, and not satisfying to use, thanks to it’s auto focus.

Had to buy before the tariffs go into effect.

Tello went downhill?

Some people got their accounts terminated, and they won’t really tell them why, other then some security system flagged them. Perhaps they aren’t telling the entire story.

Guess I risk losing my number by keeping it. Too lazy to switch, and don’t want to pay yearly for a cheaper price. Thanks to republicans, the price of lots of stuff is going up soon. Also, they might get rid of Social Security at some point. I won’t really need cell service when that happens though.

T-Mobile Connect has a plan for one dollar more. But T-Mobile likes getting hacked. Also, they bowed down to Trump, and got rid of their diversity policies. I’d rather not give a Mormon money directly.

Then again, the cheapest Ultra Mobile plan with only 500 MB of data could work, I’ve barely used any data this month, probably under 500 MB.

Hmm Good2GoMobile for 1 GB is $60 per year. Which is $5 a month. Since that’s about how much a month of service used to be on non prepaid providers, for the cheapest plan, perhaps I’d pay $60 a year for service. Need to look up reviews on Good2GoMobile, 1 GB is plenty, if I don’t run any speed tests, and stay on WiFi. The 3 GB plan is $10 per month paid yearly.

Hmm it doesn’t cut off after 1 GB? Then it’s better then Tello, Tello used to provide that but stopped. Hmm, they might suck too, and possibly worse. What about infimobile or whatever? Oh wait, think I read it can have issues too.

Probably have to get something like Mint Mobile, if you want less issues. Ultra Mobile is owned by same people I think.

I refuse to port number back to Google Voice, you can lose it, if you don’t login for a while. I’d rather pay to keep the number.

Infimobile uses Verizon? No thanks. Bigger dick then T-Mobile. Might use T-Mobile too, not sure how you select network you want, maybe I need to enter the IMEI or whatever. Can’t do it yet anyways, Tello is paid till next month, and not much money left. The $75 a year plan, you only get 2500 minutes and 2500 texts, that’s plenty for me. Use iMessage for most texts, which might be free. Or just pay $99 for the 10 GB plan, and no limits on minutes or texts. But 10 GB is overkill.

Just pay $99, if you use all 10 GB, it doesn’t cut off, so nice and slow data after 10 GB. Cheaper then what I’m paying per month right now, $14 + taxes for the Tello plan I’m on.

Hmm, Good2GoMobile is cheaper for 1 GB, and it doesn’t cut off the data. So might just be cheap and go with Good2GoMobile instead. Not seeing how to select T-Mobile on Infimobile, and I don’t want Verizon. Good2GoMobile is a smaller provider, perhaps that’s a good thing, or bad thing.

AKASO 360 Weatherproof 360° Action Camera

The Insta360 X4 is probably better, but the AKASO is only $200. Think it came out on the 7th, which is why I didn’t see it. According to the review, I didn’t read all of it, but it suffers in less light, it needs to be bright apparently. That is probably worse then the X4.

Not sure what accessories you can get for it either. Amazon makes a GoPro chest mount that was $13, if you have the utility frame for the X4, you can use GoPro accessories. It works fine with my X4.

Can you get some kind of case for it with a cold shoe mount? I doubt using my light for outside 360 video would work well though. If it can record in normal mode, then it might work, at least inside.

I doubt Best Buy sells the AKASO anyways. Nope, so you can’t trade something in to Best Buy for a gift card, and buy the AKASO.

Oh and I don’t think AKASO has Linux software either, so there’s no advantage I can see to it, other then price. Now if they had Linux software, I would have wished I bought it instead. Or maybe not, the X4 is still better. I can record 8k @ 30 FPS, I think. Says to only do so in good lightning though. Haven’t tried recording @ 8k yet, as it’s only 30 FPS. Also, I can’t export at 8k on the iPhone, only 4k. So if I edit the video, no 8k for me. So I guess 8k is kind of pointless.

I could buy a new Mac mini with 16 GB of RAM someday, but I think I’ll get a lens for my camera instead, it’s $220 vs over $300 depending on the Mac mini model. Or maybe the TCL QM5k for $330, mini LED TV. That’s bargain price for a mini LED TV.

Does the Windows software need a good GPU? Cause I could use Windows crap in a VM, and edit the video with that. But I only have one GPU, and not messing around with GPU passthrough. I kind of dislike Windows too much to use it in a VM though. But that would be cheaper then a Mac with soldered RAM.

Well, the laptop has two GPUs, thanks to eGPU. But I’m incredibly lazy. The laptop probably has a Windows license as well, probably came with it.

Editing Insta360 on iPhone is better then M1 Mac mini

Probably because my Mac mini only has 8 GB of RAM, so the Mac software requires more RAM then the mobile version.

I refuse to use Windows. No Linux software, probably doesn’t work in Wine, the latest version. Oh well. Looks like I’ll just have to use my phone. Can’t use iPad mini, got rid of it.

Not sure that would get me to buy a new Mac mini either. Might need it to edit these videos on a computer instead of a phone, but it works on my phone, and that’s paid for.

And not sure how low light people are talking about the X4 not being good at, if you need more light, just get the utility frame, and mount a light. Problem solved. I should charge my light. But I think turning the kitchen light on, provided enough light.

What is super slow, is exporting videos on the Mac mini. At least 5k is. Video it exported looks like ass on my desktop using Linux. And drops frames.

I’ll use it for recording dogs, that’s more interesting then recording a bike ride, which isn’t a good idea with a broken wrist. You could record the camera person if recording porn. And the porn, all in one video. That camera man is butt naked, and he’s cumming too. Now if it’s on a tripod, I guess there is no camera person. I’d use my light for porn. Hmm, good way to record solo porn. You might not need a tripod, depending on how many wrists you have.

It can be used as a webcam in Linux too, just connect via USB, select the webcam USB mode, and it’ll work in Linux too, not just Windows and macOS. Actually might be better in Linux then macOS, macOS is missing one resolution. In OBS, you can make a virtual webcam with that too. Maybe use the light if using it as a webcam, so I don’t have to turn more lights on. And the video it records, both files, can be viewed in VLC, even though one file extension isn’t associated with VLC.

Probably could edit it with something else perhaps, but not the 5k file. Don’t know how it’s getting a 5k video, it isn’t from one of the files, or possibly neither of the files.

Too much work using third party software, as you can see the lens in the original files. It could be combining the files somehow.

And getting a new iPhone to record Spatial Video, isn’t worth it, more expensive, and will use the phone’s battery, instead of it’s own removable battery. And I think I need head tracking, so I can look around perhaps. Too bad I bought the wrong adapter. Don’t feel like ordering the right one.

With a chest mount, you can use it as a body cam.

360 is nice, more editing can be done after the recording.

Clever

VITURE uses the same title for two different USB C XR charging adapters. The cheaper one, is apparently old, and won’t work with an iPhone. The reason I bought it. If I didn’t have a Steam Deck, that this adapter should work with, then I’d send it back.

Won’t be buying the other adapter either. The new one only works with the iPhone.

Look at the color of where you plug in the glasses and power, one is silver, that’s the old one, and the other is black.

Bummer, no VR features for me, thanks VITURE and Apple.

I can charge and use glasses at the same time, the only part of the adapter that works. The automatic switching to 3D mode, doesn’t work, clicking VR just says to connect to the adapter. Maybe someday I’ll try it with my Steam Deck. Or not. Maybe send it back, and just have no adapter. They can in that case, kiss my ass, for using the same title, making it seem like one is cheaper but will work.

Spatial video is kind of cool

Once you figure out how to put glasses in the right mode. Otherwise, the default mode shows two images, almost like a line in the middle.

Probably need the adapter that adds functionality to it, and lets you charge with a cable while connected to glasses. And don’t bother using these glasses with a computer, it’s a miserable experience.

Now I need a Spatial Video of Guardians of The Galaxy. Any of them is fine. Or all of them.

And the spatial video mode is useless for some stuff. Like in the Spacewalker or Spacewanker app. When looking at the YouToot spatial videos. Apparently you have to manually change the mode when doing different stuff. Annoying. No dizziness or anything.

And Insta360 stabilization might not be very good. So the video might make you sick. I can just get a gimbal too. It’s the Evo that has worse stabilization then the iPhone 15 that does Spatial Video, either the Pro and/or Pro Max. What about the x3?

X3 is only $250, so get a tripod or gimbal as well. Well, they make phone gimbals.

Damn splint thing, almost spilled my drink on desk. Good thing it wasn’t full.

Is the Evo newer or older then x3? If older, the x3 stabilization might be fine.

These glasses will drain your battery fast. I’d recommend getting the charger adapter thing, so you get more features, and can charge too, or just use a MagSafe battery. Still need charger adapter thing for the other features though.

Kind of want the Neck thing now, so I can remote play PS games from my PS5. You need GamePass Ultimate crap to stream Xbox games apparently. Even if you own the game.

I’m waiting to buy anything else until Amazon’s sale. Will the Insta360 X3 get cheaper? Want to take videos of my mom’s dogs with the Insta360. Then watch em with my glasses.

But the adapter adds VR and stuff on the iPhone. Does it work with iPad mini too? Then I can drain iPad’s battery instead.

I like watching YouToot with it, the browser is like a browser on a computer, except it isn’t. Takes browsing to the next level on a phone. You can convert regular videos to 3D, looks cool. Do it on Songify videos on YouToot. Then you can see a naked blurred out guy in 3D.
